Character Cosplay

Position Description

The Character Cosplayer (Events) is responsible for portraying assigned characters at live events through costume, presence, and in-character interaction. This role plays an important part in creating a positive and memorable experience for event attendees while representing our brand in a professional and respectful manner.

This is a paid, per-event position, with shifts typically lasting 1–2 hours, depending on the event schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wear and present character costumes during scheduled live events

  • Portray characters through posing, gestures, and appropriate in-character behavior

  • Interact with attendees in a friendly, professional, and family-appropriate manner

  • Participate in photo opportunities and appearances as directed

  • Follow event guidelines, schedules, and performance expectations

  • Communicate with event staff and team members before, during, and after events

  • Represent the brand positively at all times

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in cosplay and character performance

  • Ability to stay in character for short periods of time

  • Comfortable interacting with the public and working in event settings

  • Reliable communication, punctuality, and professionalism

  • Ability to follow direction and event rules

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Previous cosplay, performance, or event experience

KPOP Dance Instructors (kids 12 & under)

Position Description

We’re looking for passionate K-pop Dance Instructors who love dancing, teaching, and sharing their love of K-pop with kids aged 12 and under! This is a fun, paid opportunity to lead short dance sessions, help kids learn choreography, and create an exciting, supportive environment.

Shifts are typically under 2 hours, so it’s perfect for energetic instructors who want flexible, event-based work and love making dance fun for young learners.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Teach K-pop choreography to kids 12 and under in an engaging, fun way

  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and confidence in young dancers

  • Adapt teaching style to fit students’ needs and energy levels

RKDC Video/Audio Editor Intern

Position Description

We are seeking a creative and reliable Video & Audio Editor Intern to support RKDC (Random K-Pop Dance Challenge) under MNKPOPCONNECT. This role focuses on editing engaging audio mixes and supporting video content for K-Pop Random Play Dance (RPD) events and related media.

 

If you’re passionate about K-Pop, familiar with Random Play Dance formats, and enjoy working behind the scenes to create smooth, high-energy content, we’d love to hear from you.

 

This is an unpaid internship/volunteer position. Work is on an as-needed basis, typically once or twice per quarter (estimated).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and compile K-Pop audio tracks and video content for Random Play Dance (RPD) events

  • Create smooth audio transitions and sync music accurately with video where needed

  • Produce and assist with video edits for event highlights and promotional content

  • Organize and maintain audio/video project files and media libraries

  • Collaborate with team members to align edits with event themes, timing, and creative direction

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all audio and video deliverables

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of K-Pop and K-Pop Random Play Dance formats

  • Experience in video OR audio editing (either is acceptable)

  • Ability to use and provide your own editing equipment/software

  • Ability to export finalized audio files in at least MP3 format (additional formats a plus)

  • Reliable work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to source your own materials and resources when needed

  • Willingness to check in regularly with management

  • Understanding of K-Pop music, trends, and culture

 

Preferred (Optional):

  • Experience creating RPD mixes or mashups

  • Familiarity with choreography timing and dance breaks

  • Experience editing for social media or event content

Photography Intern - Events & Community Experiences

Position Description

We’re looking for a passionate Photography Intern who loves K-pop, storytelling, and capturing unforgettable moments! This is a great opportunity for aspiring photographers who want hands-on experience photographing K-pop events, fan gatherings, performances, workshops, and community experiences while building their portfolio.

Whether you're looking to gain event photography experience, grow your creative skills, or connect with fellow K-pop fans, this internship offers a fun and supportive environment to develop your craft.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Capture high-quality photos at our K-pop events, and community activities

  • Photograph performances, candid moments, fan interactions, and event highlights

  • Assist with organizing and editing photos for social media, promotional materials, and event recaps

  • Help tell the story of our events through engaging visual content

  • Work with event staff to capture key moments throughout each event

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude while interacting with attendees and community members

  • Arrive on time and communicate reliably with team members

  • Have fun while showcasing the excitement and energy of the K-pop community

 

Requirements

  • Passion for K-pop and fan culture

  • Interest in photography, visual storytelling, or content creation

  • Access to a camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or high-quality smartphone photography experience is a plus)

  • Basic photo editing knowledge is preferred but not required

Dance Instructor - KPOP Demon Hunter Event

Position Description

Mpls Parks & Rec x NETFLIX x MNKC is seeking an energetic K-Pop dance instructor to lead a 30-minute dance session at an upcoming movie screening event.

Position Information:

  • Duration: 30 minutes

  • Pay: $50

  • Role: Teach the choreography for Huntrix's "Golden" to attendees before the movie screening

  • Teach and demonstrate the "Golden" dance
